Riverside Café – St. Marks, Florida

While spending the afternoon exploring St. Marks, we stopped at Riverside Café for lunch and took some time to look around the waterfront. The open-air restaurant features a massive thatched roof, rustic waterfront décor, and plenty of local character, with signs and memorabilia that reflect the area's connection to fishing, boating, wildlife, and Florida's coastal culture.

One display that particularly caught my attention was a chart showing how high the water reached during various hurricanes over the years. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a close up photograph of it, but it served as a powerful reminder of both the beauty and resilience of Florida's Forgotten Coast. Community exploration often leads to unexpected discoveries, and this visit was no exception.
