Countess Catula

The Little Vampire with a Heart of Gold

Some cats are adopted. Others do the adopting.

We were staying at a campground when a little stray cat began making regular appearances. She kept coming around, quietly inserting herself into our daily lives.

Then came moving day.

Without an invitation, hesitation, or apparent concern for our plans, she simply hopped into the truck.

And that was that.

Three campgrounds later, she's still with us.

Kurt has always been the animal lover. Me? Not so much. But somehow, this tiny creature with her mischievous little vampire fangs managed to steal both our hearts, and somewhere along the way, she became family.

Her story inspired a little poem.   www.gothicdustdiaries.com/blog-2-1/countess-catula

A little vampire with a heart of gold, who didn't need an invitation to find her forever home.

Sometimes love arrives on four little paws and simply refuses to leave. ❤️
